The Elite Staunton Chess set is beautifully hand carved to the highest standards. Using the finest jet black Ebony and choice cuts of Boxwood this set quite simply put is Exquisite.
His majesty stands at a towering 4.25" and has a base diameter of 1.75".
The carving to the major pieces is astonishingly detailed for example the Bishops mitre is deep set and the queens coronet finely carved it produces an angular effect. The detail to the Knight is worthy of the highest accolade.
The set falls into the category of Triple weighted.
Only genuine sets bear the manufacturers hallmarks ; such as the Kings base pads have the company logo printed in a Gold colour, and a genuine manufacturers certificate of authenticity with embossed seal is also provided with the set.
This beautiful set would be a fine investment that would appreciate over time, and a masterful work of art to be admired.
